The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Choi Hwi-young, hereafter MCST) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (Acting President Yoo Hyun-seok, hereafter KOCCA) will hold the joint government expo '2025 K-Expo: All About K-Style' from September 28 to 30 in Madrid, Spain, to promote the overseas co-export of superior K-content and related consumer goods and services.

K-Expo is a comprehensive exhibition showcasing various Hallyu industries, including music, drama, games, and webtoons, as well as food, cosmetics, and tourism. This year, following its first event in Toronto, Canada, in August, the second event will be held in Madrid, Spain, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Spain.

The event is hosted by MCST and organized by KOCCA, in collaboration with four ministries, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and five agencies, including the Korea Tourism Organization, the National Museum Cultural Foundation, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, and the Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute.

#Performance of Drama Soundtracks by Hong Isaac, Ben, and Choi Yuri, and a Signing Event by the Author of 'Tower of God'

The '2025 K-Expo' will feature programs for general visitors (B2C) and export consultation programs between domestic and international companies (B2B). The program for general visitors (B2C) includes exhibitions, performances, and interactive events, taking place over three days from September 28 to 30 at the Artes Arts Center.

On the 28th, artists known for drama soundtracks (OSTs) like Hong Isaac, Ben, and Choi Yuri will perform, reviving the emotional impact of iconic scenes through music. They will present themes from globally popular dramas such as 'Completely Fooled' and 'Queen of Tears' to local audiences, conveying the unique narrative and emotions of K-dramas vividly.

On the same day, SIU, the author of the webtoon 'Tower of God,' which has amassed over 6 billion views globally and enjoys high popularity in Europe, will participate in a fan signing event, strengthening exchanges with the European fandom by directly meeting local fans.

In addition, audience participation programs such as K-pop cover dance, cosmetics experiences, and Korean food cooking demonstrations will be held, alongside the National Museum Cultural Foundation's 'MU:DS' exhibition.

#32 Content Companies and 28 Related Industry Companies Participate in Export Consultations... A Platform for Korea-Spain Industrial Cooperation

The '2025 K-Expo' B2B export consultation will be held over two days from September 29 to 30 at the Riu Hotel. A total of 60 domestic companies, including 32 content companies, 20 cosmetics companies, and 8 seafood companies, will participate, conducting export consultations with local and European buyers. The participating companies will showcase superior K-content and beauty and food products, seeking substantial opportunities for overseas expansion.

Acting President Yoo Hyun-seok of KOCCA said, "This event holds great significance as it marks a new intersection connecting culture and industry between Korea and Spain on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations," adding, "Through K-Expo, content, beauty, and food will be woven into a single narrative, securing not only local fandom but also industrial trust."

Meanwhile, KOCCA plans to hold another K-Expo in Dubai, UAE, this November to support the sustainable growth of K-culture and related industries. Detailed information about the event can be found on the K-Expo website (thekexpo.com).
