ZO&FRIENDS to Meet Global Fans at Winter Pop-Up

Digital IP entertainment company IPX (formerly LINE FRIENDS) will host the ‘ZO&FRIENDS 2nd POP UP’ across approximately 40 countries and regions, offering a ZOAful Winter where visitors can become friends with ZOA and friends.

ZO&FRIENDS is a character IP created by IPX and G-DRAGON, featuring the always slow-motion, seemingly indifferent yet kind cloud cat ‘ZOA’, the lovely meddler ‘A&NE’, and the mischievous color balls ‘AKI’ and ‘ZAKI’ born from ZOA's cloud footprints. These imperfect friends deliver warm messages of comfort.

ZO&FRIENDS caused a sensation upon its release in July, quickly becoming a beloved national character. The ‘ZO&FRIENDS 1st POP UP’ event at K-Pop Square in Hongdae sold out all slots within three minutes of preregistration, attracting over 1,500 daily visitors through on-site reservations. The products consistently sold out, prompting additional online preorders for the first lineup, proving the character IP's rarity.

Having received acclaim from both the industry and the public, ZO&FRIENDS is receiving invitations from various sectors. It is continuing its popularity by launching stickers on KakaoTalk and LINE Messenger, collaborating with domestic and international brands such as the cosmetic brand rom&nd and tech lifestyle brand CASETiFY, and plans further collaborations with more global brands.

As the world takes notice of the ZO&FRIENDS craze, IPX will open the ‘ZO&FRIENDS 2nd POP UP’ at K-Pop Square in Hongdae from the 19th to the 28th. The event, themed around a ZOAful Winter, aims to share warmth and comfort even in imperfect days. Following the first pop-up that infused G-DRAGON's rich imagination and personality, this event will expand the ZO&FRIENDS universe, offering a more immersive space with a diverse lineup of collectible products that allow visitors to connect as friends with ZOA.

This pop-up will take place simultaneously at K-Pop Square in Hongdae, Shinsegae Gangnam, Shinsegae Centum City in Busan, and Starfield in Suwon. Leveraging IPX's unique K-POP IP business capabilities and global network, the ‘ZO&FRIENDS 2nd POP UP’ will be gradually unveiled from the end of the year in major Asian markets such as Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taipei, Singapore, Indonesia, as well as in North America, including LA and New York, and in the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates.

An IPX representative stated, “If ZO&FRIENDS, planned and created with G-DRAGON over two years, successfully made its debut with overwhelming love from fans upon its summer release, the ZO&FRIENDS 2nd POP UP will be a new journey to meet even more fans directly,” adding, “We will continue to present new products and pop-ups encapsulating ZO&FRIENDS' unique personality and universe, creating reasons for global fans to want to be with ‘ZOA’.”
