AKRYL, a fashion brand rooted in the creative sensibilities of Korea and Japan, has unveiled its 26FW collection editorial featuring Taiwanese model KAI—who has recently been drawing attention in fashion and entertainment—through men’s fashion magazine GQ.

AKRYL is a brand launched by Japanese creative director YO TANAKA and KREAM, reinterpreting vintage and timeless designs through a modern, distinctive aesthetic.

After making its debut with the 26FW pre-collection in July and drawing attention from the fashion industry, the recently released 26FW main collection is also receiving a strong response for its refined designs and distinctive style.

This collection centers on outerwear. It introduces a car coat crafted from supple, substantial cow leather with an aged finish; a single long coat with raglan sleeves inspired by vintage coats; and outdoor-tinged coverall and down jackets, while expanding the lineup with wool knits and shirts. Another standout is the meticulous tailoring and silhouettes designed for ease of movement, elevating the overall finish of the pieces.

Alongside the new collection release, AKRYL also unveiled its 26FW campaign editorial shot with model KAI. With a naturally effortless vibe, KAI captured AKRYL’s signature vintage sensibility and cool yet polished mood in a look that feels understated and refined.

In particular, wearing a vintage-inspired leather coat whose hefty material presence only grows more compelling with time, KAI perfectly embodied the season’s mood with a nonchalant yet sophisticated look.

He also captured the deepening seasonal atmosphere with styling that paired a minimalist balmacaan coat with a clean, vertical drape and a knit cardigan noted for its light, cozy texture.

Meanwhile, AKRYL’s 26FW collection is available for purchase on the limited-edition resale platform KREAM, and the campaign editorial featuring KAI can be found on GQ’s official Instagram as well as AKRYL’s official online store and Instagram. The editorial will also appear in GQ’s December issue.
