Global sportswear brand lululemon has unveiled a new outerwear campaign featuring actress Moon Ga-young and figure skater Cha Jun-hwan to mark the start of the winter season.

Through the campaign, lululemon introduces the new “Hi-Loft” collection featuring PrimaLoft’s insulation technology, along with its signature outerwear franchise, the “Wunder Puff™.” The brand will also debut the “Silent Type™” collection featuring GORE-TEX® technology—making its global first launch in Korea.

The Hi-Loft collection exclusively uses PrimaLoft® UltraPeak™, the warmest insulation PrimaLoft has developed to date. Unlike down fill, UltraPeak technology does not require quilted stitching to hold the insulation in place, allowing for a clean, modern design while enabling a variety of shapes and silhouettes.

Long loved by lululemon guests, the Wunder Puff features lightweight, premium 600-fill-power down and SoftMatte™ fabric with water-repellent and windproof performance. It blocks moisture from getting in and helps retain warm air, delivering a warm, comfortable fit even in cold weather.

In the campaign, Moon Ga-young and Cha Jun-hwan capture the moment when the Hi-Loft collection and Wunder Puff’s style and warmth meet freedom of movement, proposing comfortable mobility and refined style even in cold weather.

In addition to the products featured in the campaign, lululemon will also introduce the Silent Type collection—its first to incorporate GORE-TEX technology—starting in Korea, followed by a launch in Japan, making it exclusive to the two markets. The lineup consists of three styles designed for varied weather and everyday activities: ▲Rain Jacket ▲Rain Coat ▲Waterproof Down Jacket.

The Silent Type collection combines lululemon’s outerwear design expertise with GORE-TEX’s outstanding waterproof and windproof performance. In particular, it minimizes the stiffness typical of high-performance outerwear and the friction noise that can occur when moving, delivering an even softer, quieter wear experience. It features the latest GORE-TEX technology, including a new ePE (Expanded Polyethylene) membrane; a breathable membrane is paired with a soft-touch outer fabric, while a brushed tricot lining is used to enhance warmth and comfort.

Moon Ga-young said, “With a busy schedule that has me constantly moving between shoots and overseas engagements, finding a balance between performance and effortless style is really important in everyday life,” adding, “lululemon is a brand that truly understands that comfort and elegance can coexist. When I wear the new PrimaLoft UltraPeak puffer, I can feel a cozy, warm, at-home comfort even on the coldest days.”
Cha Jun-hwan also said, “Choreography is an essential part of my daily life, and I enjoy the process of creating something new whenever inspiration strikes,” adding, “The lululemon Wunder Puff collection lets me move freely, so even in the cold of winter I can enjoy movement itself.”
JJ Collier, Vice President of Outerwear Design at lululemon, said, “With the Silent Type collection, we wanted to break the stereotypes around traditional high-performance waterproof outerwear,” adding, “Through our collaboration with GORE-TEX, we’ve been able to present differentiated outerwear that can be worn comfortably in everyday life.”
