Through this collection, he intended to discover black not as an absence of color or a monochromatic expression, but as a spectrum unfolding infinite nuances within one color.

In the 'Valentino Noir' collection, the looks were unified in a single color, excluding other colors, yet highlighted the entire spectrum by imparting diverse shades, distinct volumes, and depths, thus providing a new perception of black. By excluding other colors, the collection showcased texture, structure, and silhouette, recontextualizing Valentino's symbols and signifiers through rosettes, ruffles, embroidery, and lace.

Diverse textures such as velvet, crepe, chiffon, and tulle have given each look a unique presence, and the Maison's high-relief craft technique, Valentino Altorilievo, reappeared from last season, decorating over tulle in two dimensions and lightweight, creating more sensual patterns as if falling across the body like shadows.

Inspired by the 1980s, the sharp and clear shoulder silhouette has been reconsidered for today's body, completing a more structural form and expressing intense femininity.
