The Italian luxury brand Gucci has chosen hip-hop and R&B artist Jay Park as its new global brand ambassador.
Since his debut in 2008, Jay Park has been active as a singer-songwriter, dancer, and producer, receiving awards such as 'Musician of the Year' at the Korean Pop Music Awards, 'Best R&B & Soul Album', and 'Artist of the Year' at the Korean Hip Hop Awards. Since 2013, he has also founded the hip-hop/R&B labels AOMG, H1GHR MUSIC, and MORE VISION, contributing significantly to the nurturing of new talent and popularization of hip-hop and R&B.
Jay Park participated in various projects including the ‘Gucci 2024 Cruise Fashion Show’ held at Gyeongbokgung Palace last May.
He expressed his honor in joining Gucci, stating, “Gucci is a unique brand that has evolved in its innovative and distinctive way over more than a century of history. It’s an honor to be part of such a prestigious house.”
Gucci also expressed great joy and anticipation for their journey with Jay Park.
