Along with the support of the BFC College Committee, the BFC Foundation offers undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships to students, as well as opportunities to connect with the fashion industry through design competitions and graduate 'preview days'. In 2020, the British Fashion Council established the Institute of Positive Fashion (IPF) to help the British fashion industry achieve more resilient and circular goals through global collaboration and local action.
Key events of the British Fashion Council include London Fashion Week sponsored by Clearpay in February, June, September each year, the annual London Showroom showcasing events highlighting creativity and innovation in the fashion industry, and 'The Fashion Awards'.
