Gucci Unveils Sabato De Sarno's First Gucci Men's Collection

The Italian luxury brand Gucci revealed its Gucci 2024 Fall-Winter Men's Collection during Milan Men's Fashion Week, showcasing the first men's fashion show by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno.

The fashion show, held at the Fonderia Carlo Macchi in Milan, mirrored Sabato De Sarno's debut show, the Gucci Ancora fashion show, last September. Through this event, Gucci reinforced Sabato De Sarno's vision for the house's philosophy and aesthetics, manifested in the refined tailoring of men's clothing, and the reinterpretation of Gucci's iconic symbols, including the GG monogram and Horsebit loafers.

The runway of this 2024 Fall-Winter Men's Collection fashion show was a mirroring of the Gucci Ancora fashion show presented last September, not just in terms of lighting and soundtrack mise-en-scène, but also throughout the collection. Notably, the perfect tailoring made of luxurious materials and refined silhouettes aligns with Sabato's intention to showcase the essence of a luxury fashion house through the Gucci 2024 Spring-Summer Women's Collection last September.

Additionally, the 2024 Fall-Winter Men's Collection also featured iconic products symbolizing the house's craftsmanship and history, such as Horsebit loafers and the GG monogram, further adding sophistication and sensuality to contemporary fashion.

Meanwhile, Gucci Ancora represents the opportunity to "fall in love with fashion again through Gucci," and effectively showcases the vision of Creative Director Sabato De Sarno by illustrating the various stories embedded in the word Ancora.

At the fashion show held in Fonderia Carlo Macchi in Milan, global brand ambassadors including hip-hop and R&B artist Jay Park and singer-songwriter and actress IU, along with various celebrities worldwide, attended to witness Sabato De Sarno's first men's collection debut at Gucci.

In commemoration of the fashion show, the Gucci Art Wall featuring the works of Italian artist Valerio Eliogabalo Torrisi, introduced in the Gucci art book published in September alongside Sabato's debut fashion show, was unveiled. The Gucci Art Walls displayed in Milan, London, New York, and Shanghai heightened anticipation for the fashion show with the phrase 'Ogni tanto, lo so, sogni anche tu, e sogni di noi' (Sometimes, I know, you dream too, and you dream of us).
