The partnership, which began at the immersive 'The Art of Genius' event during London Fashion Week in February 2023, has expanded the Moncler Genius worldview into a co-creative platform. For his genius, JAY-Z and Roc Nation turned the spotlight from themselves to the thousands in the creative community attending the event, designing a narrative and deeply human journey through sound and vision under the theme 'The Art of All.'

Based on Moncler and JAY-Z's idea of 'Genius is everywhere' and the theme of encouraging people to use their voices, a manifesto video featuring music from JAY-Z's production of 'The Book of Clarence' and narration by artist SAINt JHN tells the powerful story of the collection.
The video, directed by Irish video artists Páraic and Kevin McGloughlin, juxtaposes the charming aspects of New York City with intense outdoor imagery, visually connecting the ascent of the mountains with the geniuses climbing the city in their daily lives. The artistic style of the video switches angles and perspectives to capture the rising energy, with collages of sharply cut mountain rock surfaces, urban skyscrapers, ice tunnels with subway escalators, and jagged skylines with mountains, along with scenes shot in JAY-Z's native Brooklyn and Roc Nation's Manhattan headquarters, delivering the campaign message that 'Genius is everywhere.'
The Moncler x Roc Nation designed by JAY-Z collection, presented along with the campaign, consists of modular elements that harmonize like samples in a consistent record track. The collection introduces a new style by adding New York's flair to Moncler's signature forms, with pieces like green padded jackets with crocodile-pattern embossing and waterproof pockets on the sleeves. Jackets transform from nylon shells to leather, and overshirts from twill to cozy shearling in reversible styles, offering freedom and enjoyment. Notably, the collection features intricate details like a new handcrafted mountain-shaped logo, crystal embellishments on the back of jackets, and 'It's not rocket science' graphics. Wool T-shirts and finely stitched sweaters boast restrained casual luxury, while sweatshirts and hoodies are paired with baseball shorts, track pants, and trademark workwear-style pants to complete a harmonious look.
