Wooyoungmi Unveils 2024-25 FW Collection

The luxury fashion house WOOYOUNGMI, operated by Solid Corporation, unveiled its Fall-Winter 2024-25 collection in Paris on the 21st (local time).

The Fall-Winter 2024-25 collection of Wooyoungmi was inspired by the designer's hometown, Seoul, which has established itself as a global city, and depicts portraits of various characters residing there.

Seoul's dress code, a free and unique combination of traditional wardrobes from Seoul and the West, was proposed. This fusion was interpreted as a cultural symbol and in the manner of Seoul as an international city.

The collection depicted various characters one might encounter in Seoul: businessmen in relaxed suits with maxi coats made of heritage fabrics, combinations of bouclé miniskirts and suits, bourgeois ladies, and boy scouts. Practical uniforms reflected the cultural code of Seoul's younger generation.

'Bojagi' details from Korea were applied to hoodies, shirts, and hats. The collection featured a warm color palette composed of greys of buildings and skies, and navy, dark green, and brown from urban landscapes.

Meanwhile, the show venue was decorated with the brand's new signature image, symbolizing the ability to listen to the sounds of the city and the world, inspired by designer Wooyoungmi's fashion philosophy, creating a striking contrast with the urban and industrial show space.

The luxury fashion house WOOYOUNGMI has held its collection in Paris for 22 years, firmly establishing its place. The Paris collection showcasing FW 2024 received a warm response from over 400 local press and buyers, concluding successfully.
