Actress Shindongmi Graces the Cover of 'Housewife Life' February Issue

"I am still dreaming and will continue to dream in the future"

Actress Shindongmi has decorated the cover of the February issue of the monthly women's magazine [Housewife Life], celebrating its 59th anniversary.

Recently receiving warm love and concluding the JTBC weekend drama [Welcome to Samdalli], where she played the role of the eldest sister 'Jo Jindal,' Shindongmi carried out the cover shoot for the February issue of [Housewife Life] with a 'monodrama' concept featuring intense lighting, glamorous outfits, and various expressions. She expressed her feelings, saying, "I lived as Jo Jindal from last April to December. It was fun to feel like I was taking on a variety of roles apart from Jindal."

Shindongmi, who has continuously shown her relentless energy by participating in over 100 works during her more than 20-year acting career, discussed the source of her motivation: "I always think I am lacking. There seems to be something unfulfilled, always driving me to yearn, research, and contemplate. In acting, I tend to look at myself more meticulously and critically," she explained.

She also added, "There was a time I thought I had no talent in acting. I wanted to achieve the dream I had envisioned, and it seems that consistency has triumphed over talent."

Shindongmi, who is celebrating her 10th wedding anniversary this year with her husband Heo Kyu, also a singer and musical actress of the same age, described him as an essential presence like 'air.' She shared, "He has always been a friend-like companion and a great supporter. One day, while driving on Gangbyeonbuk-ro and talking to him, I suddenly felt terrified at the thought of my life without him. I hope we both continue to grow and thrive in good health."
