Noteworthy Women's Fashion Brand New Collection

The new classic women's fashion brand 'The Aperture', a part of Samsung C&T Fashion Group, has launched its Spring 2024 Collection themed 'Curating of Culture'.

The Aperture set the theme of this Spring Collection as 'Curating of Culture', drawing inspiration from the design aesthetics of Bauhaus and curating various cultural elements of the 1920s from The Aperture's unique perspective.

Bauhaus, a comprehensive art school founded in Germany by Walter Gropius, emphasized 'the living of art and function' and significantly influenced modern life design.

Particularly, The Aperture proposed classic looks, reinterpreting vintage items with a modern sensibility based on the design aesthetics of Bauhaus. Key products include the 'House Coat' made of water-resistant checkered material for transitional weather, the 'Walter Over Jacket' inspired by the classic style of Bauhaus founder Walter, and the 'Walter Blouson' inspired by 1920s boyfit jackets.

This spring, the brand has also launched the blouson/pleated skirt set-up in a calm and clean deep navy color, introducing a new color and pattern every season.

Items expressing the seasonality using vintage mood floral patterns were also released. These include the 'Sophia Shirt' with a subtle hourglass shape and dressy silhouette, the 'Bayer Shirt' with a faintly visible pink floral pattern, and the 'Sophia Skirt' featuring sheer layered lace material, all evoking a refreshing spring style with a girlish charm.

Lee Jae-hong, head of New Business Development, said, "The Aperture, in just one year since its launch, has built a solid fandom centered around customers in their 20s and 30s with fresh concepts and styles every season. This year, we plan to gradually expand opportunities to directly experience The Aperture's unique brand identity through pop-up stores," he said.

Meanwhile, & Other Stories, known for its details based on modern femininity and high-quality products, is introducing its premium limited line 'SAVOIR's Spring Collection for the 2024 SS season.

The premium line SAVOIR, showcasing the expertise of & Other Stories' design atelier, features designs that blend 1990s minimalism with bold and free femininity.

Frida Billegren, the concept designer at & Other Stories, said, "The vision for this collection emphasizes the correlation between freedom and creativity, encapsulating the essence of the boundless sky. The collection starts with beautiful pieces that depict the sunset sky on a canvas, followed by meticulously crafted dresses, set-ups, and accessories in luxurious materials with attention to detail."

The campaign features Scottish supermodel Kirsty Hume as its muse, encapsulating her life journey. & Other Stories aims to present a universal perspective on the life of a woman continuing her artistic journey through this campaign.

The highlight of the collection is a dress designed to resemble a painting of the setting sun. Despite its minimalistic design, the dress is boldly expressed with a unique hand-painted appearance.

This dress not only leads the overall ambiance of the collection but also inspires voluminous and refreshing sky-blue dresses, reflecting the style of the 1930s and 40s with bright yellow dresses.

The experimental draping added to denim styles exudes a modern edge reminiscent of artistic works, while the translucent set-up expressed in lavender pointelle knit and sage green lace beautifully captures the transparent, veil-like feel of clouds.

Moreover, the collection's luxurious minimalism and meticulous detailing can be seen in the SAVOIR line, including hand-decorated glass ornaments in sterling silver and sculptural flower heel sandals, showcasing the beauty of detail and a surrealistic sensation.

This collection uses high-quality materials such as sustainably sourced viscose, filament yarn with a silk-like feel known for its softness, sheen, and draping, as well as organic and recycled cotton.

& Other Stories' SAVOIR Spring Collection will be exclusively launched at the Apgujeong store on February 1st and will also be available at the official online store.
