Lifestyle culture company LF, which imports and sells the American urban outdoor shoe brand 'KEEN', announced the launch of the limited edition 'Year of the Dragon' collection for the Blue Dragon Year of 2024.
This collection is inspired by the 'Dragon', an important legendary animal symbolizing courage and perseverance in Asian culture. It reflects a stylish design on KEEN's iconic hiking shoes 'JASPER' and sandals 'UNEEK'.
Especially, it uniquely features the traditional natural elements 'wood, fire, earth, water, metal' expressed in their own distinctive colors. The collection, signifying the 'Blue Dragon Year', comes in two colors, blue and jade, applied to each model. The tongue of the shoe is engraved with a dragon pattern, enhancing its collectible value.
Celebrating its 16th anniversary, KEEN's 'JASPER' is a hybrid hiking shoe with a round toe design, bold and diverse colors, and KEEN's unique technology. It has gained popularity as a trendy hiking shoe among the MZ generation, known for its cost-effective design suitable for casual wear, causing a sell-out frenzy last year. The 'UNEEK', celebrating its 10th anniversary, is a unique sandal made with only two straps for the upper.
The 'Year of the Dragon' collection by KEEN is available at various online channels (including LF Mall, Musinsa, KREAM, W Concept, 29CM, department store malls) and offline stores like KEEN stores and LF's shoe boutique 'Raum Edition'. The price for both 'JASPER' and 'UNEEK' models is 159,000 KRW.
Since LF started its operations in February 2021, KEEN has been on a high growth trajectory in the domestic outdoor fashion market, aligning with the surge in 'gopcore look' trend. This year, celebrating the 16th anniversary of the 'JASPER' model and the 10th anniversary of the 'UNEEK' model, KEEN plans to actively engage in various activities including new collaborations and offline pop-up stores to expand its fandom.
