Rimowa Expands Original Collection with New Vanity Case

On the first day of February 2024, German maison Rimowa introduces the Rimowa Original Vanity Case, incorporating new functionalities into designs inspired by the archive.

Since the 1970s, vanity cases have been a mainstay product for Rimowa. Known for their durability and storage capacity, these designs are considered essential for travel and beautifully complement the maison's contemporary lineup. The newly upgraded vanity case, returning to meet the needs of today's discerning travelers, adds another layer of meaning to the expansion of the brand's iconic Original Collection.

Manufactured in Germany with the highest technology, the new Rimowa Original Vanity Case offers a stylish yet practical solution for easily carrying daily beauty essentials. Crafted from the maison's signature grooved aluminium, this elegant case exemplifies Rimowa's commitment to functional design, making it an ideal choice for frequent travelers.

The new addition to the Original Collection features a case that opens upwards for easy access to contents, highlighted by a Rimowa logo under the top handle. The first thing noticeable upon opening is the water-repellent coated fabric zipper pocket designed to hold light items. The top part includes a flat pouch containing an aluminium mirror crafted in grey leather.

The interior storage space of the Rimowa Original Vanity Case is lined with Italian leather, with a large band to secure up to five bottles during travel. Another compartment includes a detachable bespoke tray made of aluminium and plexiglass, adorned with Rimowa's signature monogram on the front. This removable tray is designed to hold smaller items like makeup products.

To ensure comfort during travel, the back of the Rimowa Original Vanity Case is equipped with a travel strap, allowing it to be easily attached to a suitcase during transit.
