Lifestyle company LF, which operates the global sports brand 'Reebok', announced the launch of the 24SS (Spring/Summer) brand campaign with ambassador Lee Hyori.
Today (23rd), Reebok unveiled the 'RE.RE.RE. Real, Retro, Reebok' brand campaign photos and video. The campaign, featuring brand ambassador Lee Hyori, showcases Reebok's retro style reinterpreted to fit modern trends, aiming to convey Reebok's Y2K fashion and retro mood to customers.
The 'Real Retro Reebok' campaign video captures the joy of retro with exciting music and dance. Choreographed by 'Kinky', a dancer and sub-leader of 'EO-DDAE', from the dance crew 'Coming Out', known for their collaborations with various K-POP artists, the choreography fits the retro beats and includes easy-to-follow point moves for everyone to enjoy. Apart from the point choreography, dancers expressed retro freely in their own style through freestyle.
In the video, Lee Hyori wears the campaign's main item, 'Vector Flash Set-Up', and performs free and dynamic dances with five top dancers from various genres (Kim Ran, Lee Tae-heon, Hong Eun-ji, Kim Bo-kyung, No Ji-hye).
Along with the unveiling of the campaign photos and video, the 'Vector Flash Set-Up' being released today reinterprets the dynamic and active 'Vector Logo', characteristic of Reebok's long heritage, into a set-up that encapsulates the Y2K vibe and the gothcore trend, available in beige, off-white, black, and red colors for the Vector Flash windbreaker jackets and beige, black, off-white colors for the Vector Flash warm-up pants.
As the 'gothcore look', which transverses daily life, outdoor, and sports, continues to gain popularity, the 'windbreaker set-up' emphasizing the Y2K mood is expected to trend as this spring's sport lifestyle wear. Especially, Reebok's set-up, a genderless item with colors and silhouettes for both men and women, has gained practicality with mesh linings and hem strings.
A Reebok official said, "Following last year's successful Pump Padding, this second project with brand ambassador Lee Hyori aims to target the spring/summer season sport lifestyle wear market through this campaign, which combines style, music, and dance. We plan to continue introducing items that maximize the synergy between 'Reebok' and 'Lee Hyori', possessing timeless trendiness while holding a long heritage, in accordance with each season this year."
