The Italian luxury brand Gucci unveiled the Gucci 2024 Fall-Winter women's collection at Milan Women's Fashion Week through the women's fashion show of creative director Sabato De Sarno.
In this fashion show held at Fonderia Carlo Macchi in Milan, one could glimpse the unique approach of Sabato De Sarno, dreaming and realizing various inspirations without hurrying, much like laying bricks one by one to complete a house.
Exploring the spaces between pleats, paying attention to small details meticulously, and subsequently disrupting conventions in his own way, he introduced a new perspective to the house's symbols with ready-to-wear, new silhouettes of handbags, shoes, and accessories.
Particularly in this Gucci 2024 Fall-Winter women's fashion show, masculine silhouettes of coats were notably presented. The coats featured distinctive designs with hidden buttons and placket details on the back, and similar details were also seen on bombers, peacoats, and leather jackets.
Details such as layering lace over other lace, adding embroidery or velvet, and tying laces with other laces showcased various reimaginations.
Subtle elements like geometric patterns realized in jacquard prints also made an appearance, while knitwear was adorned with transparent or toned-down sequins or crystal fringes.
New handbag designs were also unveiled, including a new top handle bag crafted from soft nappa leather featuring new GG monogram styles among others.
Furthermore, new handbags with a half-moon silhouette inspired by Gucci's equestrian archives and modernized with new logo designs were notable. Additionally, the iconic Gucci bamboo bags were reimagined with gold metal bars for clutches and new bamboo bucket bags.
Meanwhile, classic riding boots and Over-the-Knee boots reinterpreting Gucci's horsebit symbol connecting Gucci with the equestrian world were prominent. Gucci horsebit loafers were also reborn as platform sandals. Additionally, gold necklaces with stud details inspired by Gucci's archives and cat-eye silhouette sunglasses in matching colors were showcased.
The fashion show held at Fonderia Carlo Macchi in Milan saw attendance from global brand ambassadors including NewJeans Hani and various celebrities from around the world for Sabato De Sarno's Gucci 2024 Fall-Winter women's fashion show.
The Gucci 2024 Fall-Winter women's fashion show was simultaneously unveiled worldwide through live streaming, and is available for replay on Gucci's official channels including the Gucci official online store (Gucci.com), YouTube, the Gucci app, and Naver Shopping Live.
