‘Rick Owens’ unique design reflected in Dr. Martens' new collection

On March 5, 2024, the British cult fashion brand Dr. Martens announced the second drop of the ‘Dr. Martens X Rick Owens collaboration collection’ following last month's first drop.

The second drop, featuring our latest 14XX platform outsole debuted late last year, is launched with two boot silhouettes embodying a bold yet elegant punk swagger.

The two boots are highlighted in a campaign shot with London-based Turkish producer, performer, and DJ Sissy Misfit. The 1460 Jumbo Lace Boots reinvent Dr. Martens' classic 8-eye boots with added oversized brushed silver eyelets, a thickened zipper, and jumbo pearl wraparound laces.

The 1918 boots are equipped with 18 eyelets, completed with dramatic wraparound laces and a black pearl colored scripted heel loop. Both pairs feature bold designs with contrasting soft and flexible Luna leather, long oversized tongues reflecting Rick Owens' signature design.

The collection features the DMXL sole developed by blending light EVA compound with durable PVC pods. The sole is affixed with Dr. Martens signature yellow welt stitch, maintaining the brand's DNA.

The Dr. Martens X Rick Owens collaboration collection is available from today, the 7th, at Hannam Dr. Martens store and the official online store, in limited quantities.
