The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (Minister Bang Moon-kyu) and the Korea Fashion Industry Association (Chairman Han Joon-seok) are conducting an online public vote for the "K-Fashion Audition" from September 22nd (Fri) for five days.
The reorganized K-Fashion Audition for this year, split into three entry categories: [Challenger], [Beginner], and [Digital Fashion], and offering tailor-made program support, has been undergoing the evaluation process since its announcement in May, aiming to select the final TOP 10.
* Evaluation process for each category
Challenger (businesses up to 7 years): Document Review (7/12) → PT Review (7/27) → Online Public Voting (Preference, Planned Sales Performance) → TOP 3 Selection
Beginner (Students, Pre-entrepreneurs): Document Review (7/19) → PT Review (8/31) → Online Public Voting (Preference) → TOP 3 Selection
Digital Fashion (3D Production Capable): Document Review (7/21) → PT Review (9/13) → Physical Review (in October) → TOP 4 Selection
The "Online Public Voting," open to anyone interested in fashion, targets 10 Challengers and 8 Beginners selected through the first and second rounds of evaluation. The voting is conducted through the online voting site and W Concept Korea’s planned exhibition page.
Participants can vote on the K-Fashion Audition (kfashionvote.com) voting site and purchase products from emerging brands at the W Concept exhibition.
The final TOP 10 selected brands will receive government awards including the Presidential Award, business vouchers worth a total of 100 million won, and support for tailor-made programs for each category.
For Challengers, the support includes brand promotion, customized consulting, online/offline distribution linkage, company builder investment linkage, and participation in next year's Trend Fair and Le Dome showroom. For Beginners, support includes brand promotion, startup consulting, fashion company internships, and participation in next year's Trend Fair.
Digital Fashion will be supported with 3D platform showroom space, brand promotion, and participation in a hybrid fashion show.
