Denmark's representative brand Ganni presents its second collaboration with the traditional British lifestyle brand Barbour.
GANNI X Barbour 2.0 (GANNI X Barbour 2.0) is a 9-piece exclusive collection that adds contemporary winter accessories to the classic Barbour jacket. Following the success of their first collaboration, the two brands have come together again, infusing Barbour's signature style with Ganni's playful sensibility.
The 9-item collection uses certified organic waxed cotton and recycled materials, featuring Barbour's signature earthy colors with Ganni's signature oversized collars and detachable hoods.
Ganni has added brushed wool checks and its iconic leopard pattern to Barbour's classic oversized bomber jackets and bucket hats, and bright neon green logos, creating a fun contrast with Barbour's country style. The collection includes long quilted coats, short waxing jackets, leopard bombers, bucket hats, and check scarves for the first time.
Barbour's Commercial Director, Paul Wilkinson, said, "There was no hesitation in deciding on a second collaboration following the great popularity of our first collaboration with Ganni among global customers. Ganni's brand values align very well with Barbour's vision of using our unique heritage to create products and collections that are relevant today and will stand the test of time."
Also, Ganni's Creative Director, Ditte Reffstrup, said, "There was so much we didn't get to try in our first collaboration that we joined forces with Barbour again with passion for the second one. Through this collaboration, we wanted to add fun elements using Ganni's classic leopard pattern while continuing the value of craftsmanship.
To me, leopard is a pattern that can be enjoyed without following trends. This collection is even more meaningful as it is designed to be loved and worn forever, embodying the responsibility both brands pursue." Barbour will offer repair and rewaxing services through its Wax For Life program to keep the collaboration products in top condition for a long time.
More details are available on the Barbour website. The collection will be launched on November 3, 2023, and available on the official websites of both brands and selected offline stores.
