Kim Hye-soo's Last Dress Fitting Before Leaving the Blue Dragon Film Awards

On the 24th, with the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards, actress Kim Hye-soo beautifully concluded her long journey of 30 years with the awards ceremony.

Kim Hye-soo expressed her gratitude to her style team, who worked hard over the years to prepare dresses for the Blue Dragon Film Awards, sharing the last dress fitting for the awards.

“We sent emails to various brands for dress buying requests for the end-of-year ceremonies, constantly checked new dresses, selected and fitted the delivered dresses, tailored the selected dresses to fit my body, secured matching jewelry, shoes, and clutches, did the final fittings, and sometimes repeated this process several times,” she said, recalling the hard work of her style team behind her glamorous red carpet dresses over the years.

“On the day of the award ceremony, there could be dress zipper malfunctions, dress shape changes due to the wind on the red carpet, tripping over the dress hem on the MC route stairs, damage to the dress hem, expensive earrings falling off ears they weren't pierced for, dress fabric damage due to jewelry, jewelry damage due to other factors, shoes getting stuck and coming off during the MC's first appearance, the MC deciding to wear the dress back to front, and despite a hundred preparations, all those situations could fall apart.

My amazingly professional style team handled everything as if nothing happened. I am grateful and proud. My respect and thanks to all my staff who have been with me for 30 Blue Dragon Awards,” she wrote, reflecting on the efforts of her staff and expressing gratitude to those who helped her.

Having held the position of the goddess of Blue Dragon for 30years since 1993, Kim Hye-soo concluded the film festival on the 24th, saying, "I am proud to have been devoted during the past years. It's been 30 years since I first connected with Blue Dragon. Ending the year with everyone who loves cinema, this place has been a means for me to confirm my growth as an actor.
