Genderless fashion, which does not distinguish between male and female genders, is expected to continue its popularity this year. In line with this trend, CJ ONSTYLE is launching a genderless fashion brand 'M12' on the 25th.
M12 stands for genderless life wear that can be comfortably worn all 12 months of the year. M12 is characterized by timeless designs, materials, and silhouettes that are not confined by gender. The brand aims to break away from the traditional gender-specific fashion market, offering multi-purpose items that combine quality and practicality while timely reflecting seasonal trends.
The Spring/Summer 2024 launch products include hooded knit setups, bomber jackets, and cable collar knits, designed as daily items in identical designs for men and women but in different sizes. These versatile collections suit both commuting and outdoor activities. The range will be expanded to include shirts, pants, and cardigans, with new products to be revealed in the future.
Along with the brand launch, M12 will also present a variety of content themed around 'lifestyle'. Collaborations with personalities like artist Kim Chung-jae, yoga instructor Jeon Che-rin, and creator Park So-ryong, who each lead their unique lifestyles, will showcase diverse styling videos using M12 products on the CJ ONSTYLE app and M12's official social media accounts.
Seo Bo-seok, the manager of CJ ONSTYLE's Brand Fashion Team 1, stated, “M12 aspires to be a lifewear brand that can be worn by anyone, anywhere, throughout all 12 months, breaking away from the four seasons and gender constraints of men and women. We plan to introduce collections for those who pursue their own style, based on basic styles and in line with trends.”
