Adidas Golf X Malbon Golf to Present Special Capsule

Adidas Golf is launching 'The Crosby Collection', a special capsule in collaboration with Malbon Golf.

The Crosby Collection is inspired by the camaraderie, spirit, and fashion of the era that formed the backdrop of today's golf landscape, and the Crosby Clambakes, a pro-am tournament hosted by Bing Crosby, one of the greatest stars of the 1930s in golf, fashion, and entertainment.

Adidas and Malbon Golf have reinterpreted the fashion silhouettes that adorned the early Clambakes with a modern sensibility, and all products incorporate Adidas's technology and materials required on the course.

For men, the main products include an iconic cardigan inspired by early Clambake posters, button-down polo shirts, pleated pants and shorts, crewnecks, and lightweight sports coats. For women, there is a dress with an argyle pattern, a short-sleeved polo with loose sleeves, and culotte pants that offer both feminine and casual styles. Additionally, there are check-patterned anoraks and t-shirts printed with the Crosby Clambake decanter awarded to the champions.

Additionally, Adidas is introducing two of its franchise footwear in limited editions for this collection. The Stan Smith, now a global icon of classic fashion, and the MC87 golf shoes first introduced at last year's Ryder Cup are among them. Both golf shoes, presented in a special limited design, blend naturally with Malbon Golf's M logo, exuding the essence of collaboration.

Dylan Moore, Creative Director of Adidas Golf, commented, "We wanted to elevate the special history of Crosby's famous Clambake by incorporating 1930s-40s golf fashion seen in photos into our new collection. The entire collection not only showcases the historical position of golf and fashion at that time but also how that era's zeitgeist and fashion style still resonate with today's golfers."

Stephen Malbon, co-founder of Malbon Golf, remarked, "With this collection, we wanted to reinterpret the past in a modern way to honor the essence of golf and fashion. This collaboration, inspired by the legendary Crosby Clambake, was the perfect opportunity to rethink style, sports, and camaraderie."

Bing Crosby's son, Harry Crosby, expressed his amazement at the successful implementation of the new collection, saying, "Preparing this collaboration, I developed great respect for the Adidas and Malbon Golf teams. It felt like reviving my father. The casual performance wear made me feel like my father was on the field with me."

The Crosby Collection by Adidas and Malbon Golf will be available in limited quantities from 10 a.m. on January 30th, at Adidas Golf's Cheongdam flagship store, select offline stores, the official online store, Malbon6451 Dosan flagship store, Malbon Golf's official online store, dealers, and Malbon Golf stores in national department stores.
