Converse, an icon of street culture, introduces new collaboration products with Stussy, an icon of sportswear.
Stussy, established in Southern California's surf scene in the late '80s and early '90s by Shawn Stussy, redefined the style and concept of casual wear. Since then, it has established itself as a brand that continues the reputation of Californian sportswear by spreading West Coast style to subcultures and youth culture worldwide.
The consistent iconic partnership between Converse X Stussy reinterprets the Chuck 70 with a West Coast sentiment, incorporating rough suede material with signature collaboration details.
The Converse X Stussy Chuck 70 features an upper made of rough hairy suede material reminiscent of 90s style, combined with a matte foxing reminiscent of classic Chucks. Instead of the traditional Chuck Taylor ankle patch, it features a custom All Star patch with Stussy's famous star graphic element. The shoe features various collaboration details such as the hairy suede 'blank' patch, the tongue's custom Stussy 'All Star' woven label, embroidered Converse 'All Star' logo, collaborative sock liner, and the Stussy logo printed inside the tongue.
Available in two models, red color low-tops and blue color high-tops, and come with an extra pair of white color shoelaces, allowing for various styling with two different colors of shoelaces.
The Converse X Stussy Chuck 70 will be available on March 8th, online at the official Converse website, Musinsa, and the official Stussy website, and offline at Stussy Seoul Chapter.
