The Italian luxury brand Gucci has unveiled a new campaign for the Gucci Horsebit 1953 loafers, a symbol of the house's authenticity.
This campaign, curated by Gucci Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, once again emphasizes the timeless sophisticated style of the Gucci Horsebit 1953 loafers and their everlasting legacy.
The Gucci Horsebit loafer was inspired by the equestrian world. In the late 1940s, the horsebit motif, consisting of two rings and a connecting bar, was used as a decorative emblem across various Gucci collections. This eventually led to the creation of the Gucci Horsebit loafer in 1953, becoming a symbolic design element of the house.
This campaign, featuring British actor Kingsley Ben-Adir, was shot against a refined and restrained backdrop, highlighting the emphasized Horsebit emblem and minimalistic styling that well represents Sabato De Sarno's aesthetics.
The Gucci Horsebit 1953 loafers are available for purchase at selected Gucci stores including the Gucci Cheongdam flagship store and Gucci houses, as well as the official Gucci online store.
The new campaign can be viewed on Gucci's official Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube channels.
