Actress Son Ye-jin Met at the Valentino Collection

In March 2024, the Italian luxury haute couture brand Maison Valentino celebrated the launch of its Spring/Summer 2024 'Valentino L'École Collection' by holding a special collection presentation at the Albus Gallery in Hannam-dong, Seoul, known for its unique aesthetics and artistic atmosphere.

At the presentation, Maison's ambassador and Valentino DI.VAs actress SonYe-jin graced the event with her presence.

The event, held from March 13th to 14th, allowed visitors to see both classic and new collections in person, and to celebrate the artisan spirit of the Maison, a new artistic technique called 'Altorilievo' inspired the collaboration with paper artists. This innovative technique of Maison turns flat fabric into three-dimensional sculptural works, delicately expressing naturalistic forms and evolving the garment itself into a structure that communicates with the body.

The interior of the space transformed into a cozy area with elegant white-toned galleries through immersive installations. The walls featured the 'Valentino L'École' campaign participated by Son Ye-jin, representing Maison's ambassadors known as DI.VAs.

A cocktail party celebrating the collection's launch took place at the event, and the second floor displayed various looks centered around white color, offering a sensual code. Additionally, a special self-studio experience was provided on the first floor, allowing memorable moments to be captured in photographs, thanks to the collaboration with Photomatic.

In addition, a live dance performance was held at the venue, inspired by the performance unveiled at the October 2024 Spring/Summer 'Valentino L'École' collection show, in collaboration with choreographer Lia Kim.

This presentation not only showcased various looks but also featured Valentino Garavani accessories. In particular, the 'Valentino Garavani VLogo Moon Bag' with its moon-inspired curved silhouette and the 'Valentino Garavani Wispy Mule' with its classic oval shape enhanced by thin straps and stud details stood out, revealing a contemporary feel and versatility for various styles.

Meanwhile, the Valentino Spring/Summer 2024 'Valentino L'École' collection is available at selected Valentino official boutiques and online boutiques.
