Actress Choo Ja-hyun returns with the movie 'While You Were Sleeping'

The lifestyle magazine 'Singles' has released a photoshoot with Choo Ja-hyun. In the photoshoot, Choo Ja-hyun revealed an elegant and luxurious atmosphere.

Choo Ja-hyun is a veteran actor who has reached her 27th debut anniversary. This time, she returns with the movie 'While You Were Sleeping' alongside actor Lee Moo-saeng. 'While You Were Sleeping' is a mystery melodrama. In the movie, Choo Ja-hyun plays 'Deok-hee', a character who suffers from amnesia due to an accident during a happy married life.

Choo Ja-hyun stated, "In the movie, 'Deok-hee' is an ordinary person in a special situation, so I tried to immerse myself using emotions that I assumed I had experienced."

Choo Ja-hyun, in an interview with 'Singles', discussed her reasons for choosing this film, stating, "I wanted to try a melodrama" and "There is no age for melodrama, but there are roles that can only be done at certain ages. Even if it's the same melodrama, the kind of melodrama one can do varies with age." She also answered a question about the most coveted character she hasn't played yet, "A villain in a noir work," and identified "acting that resonates with women of similar ages to me" as the performance she consistently wants to pursue.

The movie 'While You Were Sleeping' can be seen in cinemas from March 20th. Choo Ja-hyun's photoshoot is available in the April issue of 'Singles' and on the 'Single Plus' website.
