Designer brand 'SONGZIO' has released a photoshoot for its 24SS collection, in collaboration with world-renowned photographer Jo Ki-Seok. The collection and campaign, titled 'PURE REBEL', portray the portrait of a pure rebel, fitting with the season's title.

The photoshoot is expected to attract attention in the fashion world, combining Songzio's avant-garde art fashion with Jo Ki-Seok's unique and surreal worldview. Based on the storytelling of boys with pure souls resisting and transmuting their rebellion into art, the photoshoot maximizes dramatic effects with Jo Ki-Seok's distinctive artistic aesthetics.

The photoshoot unfolds around six themes: fragility, threat, discipline, change, imperfection, and rebellion. It utilizes various objects like feathers and dandelions, rarely seen in previous Songzio photoshoots, creating a richer visual narrative. Particularly, feathers used as a main element symbolize wings, representing freedom and independence, adding vitality and story to the protagonist with elements of free spirit, independence, courage, and valor.

The campaign, first collaboration between Songzio and Jo Ki-Seok, will be exhibited for two weeks at Future Society in Seongsu-dong Yeonmu-gil during Seoul Fashion Week, drawing fashion enthusiasts worldwide to Seoul.

SONGZIO's 24SS collection 'PURE REBEL' combines classical and contemporary aesthetics, East and West, showcasing SONGZIO House's unique art fashion. Based on the creative patterns and garment making of SONGZIO atelier, the house manifests its unique silhouettes and designs through a variety of technical designs.


Adhering to its unique creation philosophy of 'PAINT ON BLACK', all SONGZIO collections start from paintings on a black canvas. The vertical strokes in SONGZIO's paintings represent the subject, while the horizontal strokes express the inherent emotions of the subject – boys and dreams, lovers and love, artists and their anguish. The art pieces of this season, created by intersecting layers of fabric cut horizontally and vertically, embody this creative philosophy of SONGZIO.
