'Mode et Paris' has been showcasing collections from the 'MODE at ZEPETO 2024 S/S' season on Naver Z's global metaverse platform ZEPETO since March 4, featuring a fashion show where ZEPETO human avatars and real models wore the same collections and walked the runway side by side.
Especially, the show introduced a new K-fashion culture in France, the fashion capital and the country with the largest ZEPETO user base in Europe, and received enthusiastic responses from local European fashion stakeholders.
By incorporating various cultural technologies such as metaverse, augmented reality, and AI, 'Mode et Paris' has expanded the horizons of K-fashion content. The show featured 20 outfits from 10 leading Korean fashion designer brands, each revealing their unique styles and creativity.
This show featured the brands Doucan, Maison Nika, Mmam, BonBom, Wunderkammer, Buemette, Vegan Tiger, II, JulyColumn, and Hannah Shin, all selected through KCCA's competition. These brands participated together, showcasing two outfits from each brand, revealing their distinct individuality and creativity through a total of 20 outfits.
The show music was completed in collaboration with AI music creation company Pozalabs and Korea's representative post-rock band Jambinai Lee Il-woo.
Pozalabs revealed a diverse collection of tracks by teaching an AI model about BPM, pitch range, and main instruments suitable for contemporary brand show music, effectively highlighting the modern appeal of the 10 participating brands across cinematic to lounge genres.
Lee Il-woo from Jambinai remarked, "Although it was the first attempt at this type of fashion show music, being able to analyze and create music for the fashion show using artificial intelligence allowed us to experience a new method of creation."
