Recycling brand FREITAG introduced its brand vision of developing new materials through the "Always Beta. Never Waste" exhibition at the world's largest design expo, Milan Design Week 2023.
Committed to recycling and its importance, FREITAG goes beyond selling products by focusing on the stage when products are reborn as new raw materials after their lifespan. The brand is dedicated to continuing the recycling of all raw materials.
In 2023, at the Milan Design Week, FREITAG held an exhibition on two projects: circular design and Circular tarp. The exhibition showcased the company's philosophy and history, as well as truck tarpaulins developed in collaboration with various industry partners. Particularly, FREITAG first revealed its foray into material development by showcasing a functional backpack made from unique recycled materials, including straps, buckles, fabric, and zippers.
During Milan Design Week 2023, FREITAG collaborates with Dropcity Center, a hub of architectural design. Dropcity Center, transformed in 2018 by architect Andrea Caputo from the historic Milan Central Station with a 100-year history, is emerging as a new center of Milan design.
